Hex never thought he'd battle Heroes or help protect the world from destruction. He lived in a tiny corner at the edge of the world. And he was only a slime, after all…

Yet, by a painful twist of fate, he finds himself at the prestigious Academy where Monsters and Humanoids alike learn to travel across worlds, collect the all-important Heroic Energy, and progress to incredible strength. It's all too much for a little slime.

But as Corruption threatens to overwhelm the worlds beyond the gates, and the Rift continually tries to rip his home to pieces, Hex must make a decision:

Run or fight.

Hide or grow.

Fall or rise.

The future of all the worlds may depend on him.

What to expect: Slow burn progression, LitRPG, portals to other worlds, magic school, slice of life, weak to strong MC, character focus. LitRPG elements will be introduced several chapters in.

What not to expect: Harems, stat tables/blue boxes, OP MCs.
