In Japan, reside not only People but also Spirits and our counterpart, Apparitions.
From our first contact with Humans, we have established a way to coexist. We would keep the Humans safe, while they would provide us with Food and Shelter. By each Generation of Humans, their contact with us started diminishing. Fewer and fewer people would see us, most of our kind starved to death or died by other means.
Centuries have passed since my Ancestors made contact with the Sakurai Family. These are humble Humans, every Generation of them had at least a few that could see us. Thus, my Founders made an exclusive deal with the Sakurai's, to keep them safe under all and any circumstances. In exchange for Food, Shelter and other needs.
It's been 10 years since I departed from the Sakurai's, the reason was personal. Time to take my position back, as my Ancestors did.
