A slice-of-life travelogue adventure.
John, a 37-year-old widower, discovers the ability to Travel between worlds through dimensional Gates.
After a research and training period, he sets out to explore the various worlds.
Although his class has the potential to be really OP, he doesn't care about that. John doesn't want to fight to get stronger. He wants to travel, explore, meet new people, and maybe help some of them as a doctor/healer if he feels like it.
His adventures lead him to a multitude of worlds, each with its own unique characteristics, where he encounters fascinating people, faces challenges, and occasionally finds himself in conflicts.
The story unfolds slowly as it progresses, with the first two books adopting a diary style narrative from the main character's perspective, intentionally omitting various details that he considered unimportant.
The first book - in the world Shimoor - John travels alone and beginning of magical exploration.
The whole second book takes place back on Earth and focuses on friendship, traveling Earth with an outside perspective as a Traveler, more extensive preparations for the future, and further magical exploration.
