Everything died, after all, and she'd never been one to delude herself into thinking otherwise. In fact, she sort of relished the standard. If she were to be reborn... she wouldn't have minded being something mundane. This set her apart from her peers; wheras many of her them may have dreamt of ultimate power and multiple harems, Cas was quite content to be snuck away in some mundane place, and doing good work despite that.Still, it was quite a shock to her when she got more than she'd bargained for: waking up as - of all things - a slime!
