Joshua is a 12-year old martial artist who fights in an art called schompoe (SCHAWM-POH) that's been around for millions of years, where fighters can hit or kick, or even headbutt the opponent. However, they are not allowed to hit areas such as the private areas, or to the back of your head. Often, fighters use "art styles" that can depict their movements or striking ability. Joshua has the biggest losing streak imaginable and nobody comes to see him fight, except for his grandfather, whose art style is the most unique and impossible to counter. Unfortunately, his grandfather died the exact same day as the match. (womp womp)
Now into a info-filled description.
This is my first decent-quality fiction, please don't expect much of it.
I recommend more on the mature side of audiences to read this. I don't want somebody that is thought of or is immature to be exposed to some of the words written in this story.
This is not fan-fiction, it does not contain any words that are in somebody else's story, or their world(s) (If it does, please let me know!) This is like if Roblox game "untitled boxing game" and famous anime/manga "Demon Slayer" met and had a baby to make a low-fantasy martial arts story that is very similar to boxing.
Spoiler Alert: (For those who like spoilers, or just read this if you want to.) I recommend
you at least read the first chapter to get an understanding of what I am about to talk about.
Joshua is actually a hybrid rare-blood whose abilities are misunderstood, and nobody quite knows yet. He will get OP, but for right now he has a little character development and more of a slice-of-life style. He just hasn't trained in the way he is supposed to and isn't very powerful yet. He actually has three abilities, but he just hasn't discovered it yet. (He will soon in later chapters!) For right now, it will be a mystery as to why his energy levels and other stuff increases. Then he will use an ancient style only one person knows - that person is him. And it turns out it was the style his grandfather used. Also, MXP means max prestige (which means that you've basically restarted whatever you've restarted, but your [whatever stat is it] will be stronger and harder to level/train, with often more levels to it.)
A note from OVDC:
I am currently in the process of heavily editing this book, and increasing the release rate to a stable pace. I know the time was not ideal for this publishing, so feel free to leave suggestions in the comments.
