Connor Crinkle wants revenge. Tormented and destroyed in his past life, he was reincarnated into a cultivation world where he hoped to find peace… only to be horribly murdered by transmigrators from his former world. Now a ghost in the Underworld, he spends his days stewing in unrest and misery.

Death is frustrated. On the verge of attaining her Psychopomp License, she's given a task. The Underworld is sick and tired of transmigrators abusing their truck-given rights, and they want her to find a way to dispose of the wicked. There's only one problem - she can only collect souls; she can't harm anything.

So when she meets Crinkle, she makes him an offer: become her exorcist, and help her exorcise the transmigrators.
