Once a talented young mage, Mick now spends his time hoping for another chance.

Over thirty years ago, he had his life shattered when he walked in on his boss in bed with his wife. In the ensuing scuffle, he was thrust through an unstable portal and found himself on the other side of the world.

After being found by the locals, he had tried to look for a way home. But, it wasn't meant to be, and he is now reaching the end of his life, regretting what could have been.

Without options, Mick has to find the strength to become what he once was… a soul mage with a future.
