Alone in the cosmos, posthuman Lambent frolics in the empty remnant of the solar system, enjoying the rest of eternity with his longtime love Calla. Until she destroys herself.

Convinced this wasn't a simple act of suicide, Lambent embarks on a journey following half-comprehensible clues left behind by a post-death humanity, desperate to find out what's really happened to his people and to the love of his life.
