2590 AD. Humanity has left Earth and opted for space stations and outposts on moons, after the degradation of the planet's health, turning it into a mostly uninhabited resource-mining planet. When the workers revolted, they formed the Earth Reformation Foundation. A violent 'civil war' broke out, and now Earth has been overrun by eco-terrorists, cutting off many valuable supplies to the rest of Humanity.

Koral is a 20 year old mech pilot working as an independent mercenary. After being caught by the Milky Way Federation, she is given a choice; experimental augmentation to pilot a new mech, or death.
