They don't remember who they were in their past life on Earth. Most of their personal memories are just blurs. Having learned alchemy and healing magic, and educating the Fox girl he rescued as a healer, he builds his own clinic to help everyone in society regardless of their status or race. And having a Fox woman save your life certainly won't make you like beastfolk any less.
