Artoria Salister lost her father in the insurrection that took the life of King Varus, saddling her household with a debt that is hard to absolve. With the sins of the dead haunting her finances, Artoria is unceremoniously dumped with the burden of choosing between selling her body or taking a gamble at The Seminarium after her mother gets severely ill.
