Like clockwork, her death was predetermined by the flames of fate, emerging in the darkness of her 18th birthday. Yet, time rewinded. Again. And again. After 9 lives of being abused, neglected, married off to monsters instead of men, she had enough.

A saint, some called her. A vixen, others murmured. No one in the high nobility knew who this girl truly was, yet none seemed to not yearn for more, to look away from her bewitching grace. The Duke was standing at the corner of the room, looking at them as if they were nothing but mere ants, ready to be squashed at a moment's notice; however, reality only sunk when they saw the wide grin on my lips. It was satisfying, so satisfying.

"I don't recall giving you permission to address me so casually." My figure leaned forward, approaching their desperate expressions. "You've raised me since I was but an infant, however, my mercy won't be tested any further."
