Marissa is the daughter of a lowly thief. Despite this, she enrolls inside the notoriously harsh Knott Institute with the hope of becoming an Imperial Knight. Bullied relentlessly by the Count's son and his henchmen, Marissa barely manages to graduate before she is framed for a crime she didn't commit and is brutally executed.

The culprit is, of course, the Count's son, the despicable Gideon Soleis.

"Just what did I do to you to deserve this..." thought Marissa before dying.

She wakes up before these events happen, in a small countryside village on the other side of the country - in her home city, one year before she enrolled!

"I'll make him pay," Revenge is all that is left inside Marissa's heart. Will she be able to carry out her vengeance? Or will the tricks of the vile Count prove too difficult?
