Esgraile, a land of promise, hope, and beauty- shattered to bits by those who call it home; divided, and dissected of its once wondrous power, magic was stripped from the people, leaving grace only with the fauna of the land! Nature had taken back its gifts, shunning those who tattered the grounds they walked upon. Yet this didn't discourage the people, for as weak and frail as their attunement had become, their minds sharpened. Cutting a new path ahead, each corner of the continent found their own ways to grab at the straws that still remain! Be it alchemy, or something more… sinister.

Enter Hexlith, a Magpie Birdfolk who stands against the violent tide of the hunt, his already strange life- thrown askew by the fate that lies ahead. As a zoologist of sorts, he has "sided" with the fauna of Esgraile in a dire attempt to salvage what's left of the true beauty of these lands. For if the final flames of magic are snuffed out?
