This story begins with one simple event. Nuclear warfare. And, like so many other simple yet large scale events, it causes deaths untold, and the world ends. Much of humanity dies, and the planet is doomed.

And yet, in the middle of it all, our protagonist survives, mysteriously transported into some alternate version of the last game he played with his friends, along with the few things he had on him at the time. His survival is unsure, as the new world proves to at first be peaceful and just like the one he knew...

Until it isn't. This is the new world, and he will have to leverage the few pieces of knowledge that are still useful in order to survive, let alone thrive.
