It's the near future, somewhere trashy and cyberpunk-ish in the Kuiper Belt.
Chio works pretty much any job that can gain her credits, but it's her shift selling 'pink crack' to asteroid sales reps that gets her into trouble this time.
Spotted by the cops, she takes refuge in a commerce plaza toilet cubicle, and is about to either get shot or arrested [or both], when a green, swirly thing materialises above her head and sucks her out of there.
Next thing she knows, she's free-falling towards what she thinks might be Iceland, but is, in fact, the unmapped and unheard of Planet Gaarrr.
Luckily, it's not death for Chio, at least not yet, as the mysterious, non-humanoid caretakers explain that this is a perilous realm and she is not the only one trying to progress.
Can she make it back home? Or even past the 'WELCOME ALIEN' table?

This is intended as a mix of Philip K Dick, the movie 'Existenz', and Zelda: A Link To The Past, with a bit of absurdity thrown in. Hopefully it conveys at least some of that.

Updates when god returns as its own miscreation unit and drags humanity into the void-realm of the third infinite
