Jacob Faust never really lived his old life. No friends to speak of, bare minimum attendance for his university classes, and monotonous video games and binge reading on repeat. Yet now, he must survive.

Thrown into a world that's nothing like the one he knew, his second chance at life does not come easy. Every gust of wind seems to blow the wrong way, every first interaction seems to start with a kick to the face, and starving beasts are constantly at his heels. Not to mention, his only guide is less than helpful.

Then again, when you're thrown into a shitty situation without any cheats to speak of, it's only right to bend the rules a bit and maybe break the world in the process, right…? Or break your leg trying, whichever comes first.

Playing fair or like a fool won't get you far in a world where even the friendly monsters tower over you.

It takes some time, but it will be a lesson Jacob will have to learn.
