By complete accident, a mimic becomes endowed with human intelligence. Now aware of his own potential and abilities, he decides he's had quite enough of scuttling about in the darkness. There's a whole wide world up there, rich with money and meat. And he's looking to have his fill.Unfortunately, he's chosen to enter the wider world during a time of great strife and upheaval. And a greedy, talking mimic may well be the least of the world's worries.
