Alex is an engineer in the making. He's your typical university student getting their soul crushed by exams, cursing professors behind their back and harbouring not so secret crushes on their tutor.

He is NOT a hero. The King of Alvayer made that very clear when he had accidentally summoned Alex into another world along with another boy.

The mistaken hero was even more furious to hear that he could not be transported back until the real hero saves their magical World Tree or else its the end of their world. Shocker. Desperate to return to Earth and spend time with his crush, Alex will have to put his engineering skills to use if he wants to speedrun this isekai without any magical powers.

This was somewhat inspired by 'I Became a [Biologist] in a Fantasy World!', HOWEVER, I do not identify as an engineer. Do not grill me on the engineering and science. My entire engineering repertoire was acquired via a shallow google research. I will be happy to correct any facts that I get wrong.
