Vale just wants a simple life - play tabletop games, cook, and to marry his girlfriend, but on the night he's set to propose, she and his dog are sucked into a portal.

So, now, Vale has to get them back. But he's not prepared for the world that awaits him, or how not in need of saving his Dog and Damsel in Distress actually are. It's a good thing too, because Vale has a bravery problem. Cowards rarely succeed, but in this case, he doesn't have a choice.
