Anakren has been a slave his whole life, "Ren" has never known his father and his mother was sold years ago. All he knows is the desert sands and the dirt walls of The Barrow (the small slave encampment where he sleeps, eats and stagnates with the other three hundred or so slaves belonging to Master Prent). The grueling work on the sand fields beats the deadly mining inside The Pit, Freedom however is what Ren craves for, he's heard what the world holds from the other slaves (most notably his friend Romin and Romins younger sister Ania) and wants see it for himself. Unfortunately in the world of Arantile "Aur Arts" are the only true means of power, and cultivation the only way to acquire them, as a slave Ren knows nothing about the ways of free-folk, but its either remain chained in the sand or forge ahead, despite the bodies of friends and enemy's he may leave behind him, And Anakren will no longer be a slave. Power comes with greed, and greed comes with blood.

Things marked with Blue text refer to the cultivation and magic system of Arantile, Things that are "inside quotations" are being said aloud while things that are italicized are inner thoughts or text.
