What would one do if they were denied their chance at glory? To be cast aside and become nothing more than a forgotten pile of bones, their names dust in the history of the world?
A peasant who wished to fulfill God's will and do right by his family, felled by disease. A martial artist with more heart than sense who was struck down by natural disaster. A tribal warrior that couldn't save his tribe and died without the chance to lift his spear.
Across time and space, these warriors were given a second chance, for a god of an accursed land granted them powers beyond imagining and with it, a second life.
What awaits them next? A world filled with rot so strong that corpses disappeared into a cloud of dust and bones. A landscape warped by the Usurper of God, the culprit who waits on his throne. A world where his monsters roamed freely, slaughtering as they pleased. A land that no sane person would ever thrive in.
In this rotten world full of dust and bones, the only path forward was to usurp the Usurper. Or die trying.
