What is the struggle of souls? Is the heart of another person so hidden that no one can seek to even begin to understand it? The wild and sacred places of the world are under threat. The ever-marching armies of the Luniya empire continue to expand and cover the world of Ishma. While their own people starve and suffer from sickness and neglect. The Kellaran people, the only notable threat left to the Luniya empire, still defend their ancient places. The land still answers their call, but like the people on it, it is bleeding. Harley is dead. He had saved a young girl from a terrible fate, and his reward? A Painful Death. He floats in an infinitely black void. Then, a light in the distance calls out for him. He sees two gatekeepers sitting before two open portals. On one side, he sees a village being raided. On the other, he sees unrest and sickness. The figures offer a choice. Who should he save? For to choose one is to doom the other. The choice is evident to Harley. He wants to save both.
