All the skeptics and crazies were right. Heck, in these times, even crazies can be right once in a while. Sadly, a crazy was right about the worst possible thing: the end of the world, or at least how humans perceived it ending. It was on that one day that everything changed. The government "superpowers" worldwide threw everything they had at the earth-shattering issue--just to have their metaphorical hands slapped and their toys taken away. Many earthlings asked how all this could possibly happen. The answer was out-of-this-world: Aliens. No, not the little green men with dubious and less-than-scientific probes, or at least most likely not. These aliens have yet to show their forms to the lowly humans. We might never know for sure; we only know that they sit in the L1 Lagrange point in space as they look down upon Earth. Since their arrival, new superpowers have sprouted worldwide, and these superpowers aren't governments anymore--but people.
