In a land ruled by powerful beasts, the various human races hide in 7 fortified bastions, protected by the few that have managed to ascend to godhood.

When Arryn's magic manifests wrong, and he gains control over a concept instead of an element; he is forced to leave his bastion home and seek out the hidden vale of the wizards. Only the wizards have mastered the power of the concepts, and most believe magicians like him are better off dead.
