Kaej was just looking for a payoff. Now, one stupid curse later, and the whole world's going to hell because of him.

Kaej - Jake, back home - is just trying to make ends meet in a strange new world. Okay, so maybe he's a little more ambitious than that.

When his plan to steal the Realm's most valuable treasure results in catastrophe, he finds himself on the run from the undead - who not only want to put him six feet under, but need his new treasure to complete their diabolic plan.

And the one guy who can stop it, and save the world?

That's right. Dead.

And it's Kaej's fault. Kind of. It also involves a vengeful goddess, and a curse. But, point is, to save the world, he needs to raise the dead, defeat a deranged necromancer, and put down an undead army.

All while avoiding his enemies in the thieves guild. And the worst threat of all: tax collectors.
