After accidentally promising to beat the Elite Four live on TV, Callahan starts a race against the clock to journey around a new region and collect every badge in just 30 days. To win in time, he'll not only make choices that strain his moral compass, but might shatter it entirely. Amidst this turmoil, an unlikely and warm bond blossoms between him and the troubled orphan Risa. He might have a chance to turn lies into truth, but at what cost?

Unbeknownst to both of them, a war is incoming, and collecting all the badges might prove to be the least of their concern.
