A fine line exists where science ends and magic begins. And while it may be true that magic is just science we don't yet understand, the seemingly random appearance of new abilities suggests otherwise. But what we've learned only prompts more questions, and we don't have an inkling how to find the answers without risking…well, everything. How did this phenomenon come to be? Why is it the only thing saving people with an otherwise terminal illness?
But the biggest question is: Why do we suddenly have these abilities when nothing in the world has changed?
What is happening that we don't know?
