Elena couldn't take it anymore. Ever since she was a little girl she felt bad for the Necromancer, a mythological figure that always returns to bring harm to the world. Her empathy and kindness drove a wedge between her and everyone she loved. One day, when the moon was full, and she couldn't take it anymore, she left her home and entered the night.
The Necromancer is coming. He'll bring the undead. If he finds you, he'll take your soul. If you feel like you're being watched, then you'd better run.
It's Necromantic, it's time to panic.
Author's Note: This story is the introduction to a larger world and mythos, and follows a pattern more akin to what Brandon Sanderson does with his fantasy novels. It's slow, but that's by design. That being said, there will be an "avalanche" of events when it reaches that point. Please note that during the month of October I will be uploading chapters daily. As of November, I'll be taking a break and refining the chapters for publishing. I'll be working on the outline for the next set of chapters and resume posting in December.
