A second chance. It's always has this cheery and wonderful vibe. Correcting the mistake of the past, making your very own happy ending. Everyone would have relish this chance... well, mostly that is.
How can you say these words to a person who knew only war? Who never knew the warmth of love? How do you fix the broken who sought only rest from such a hellish life?
Emma was one of these unfortunate souls. Cursed by the life she was forced in, lost everything and everyone she held dear to the people she once trusted... and now she is forced to relive the same nightmare all over again. Broken and half mad, Emma abandoned her name and family in hopes to find refuge from the horrors of war... but it's shadow could never leave her alone.
The Silent Heir explores the psychological damage and trauma a person would have if they were reincarnated. Everything up to that point will be remembered. Good and bad memories alike. Unfortunately for this story, the memories that can be count as one are limited. It also tries to tell a story what a ptsd might look like for a soldier after their death should the memory persists. I am in no way experienced anything this level of experiences, but I will do my best in writing them justly.
