~~Currently on hold, while I work out some plot points in the prequel.~~
What if an impossible wish came true?
What if the price is waking up a titan?
What if magic is not enough to stop the world from going mad?
Here's what you can expect from this story:
Book One - Murder & Magic
After an uncanny murder reopens a decade-old cold case, the fragile laws that keep the nation in the balance are tested.
Myra Tamon is a detective with a deep disdain for all things magical. Still, when the old wounds of the city get ripped again, she and her team have to join forces with the infamous Bureau of Magical Investigations in order to tackle the oncoming tide of violent crimes.
Orelin Avenonilanis is a magical investigator who hides his real ability to avoid execution. Faced with the challenge of sharing cases with the ungifted, he must stay one step ahead, for only he can understand the real consequences of magic.
The unpredictable events lead to an unfair game, where neither magic nor wit can ensure victory, threatening to reveal the city's true face.
Book Two - House of Escaria
Welcome to Kaiden Island. As Helden teethers on the edge of another purge, the heart of the mystery lies in the most unlikely of places.
The First Citizens succeeded in their intentions, but even they could not foresee the burden their leader had left behind.
A game must be played to keep a great power from forcing worlds to cross paths and let dangerous things come through.
And Orelin must find an ally in his oldest enemy.
Book Three - The Wandering Magician
Having chosen his punishment, Orelin must enter the Forest of the Seven Swords, and endure the seven deadly challenges it presents. But, he soon learns that he is not the only one trapped inside.
The past comes calling and the most powerful of magic wielders must remember what was forgotten and come home.
Book Four - The Mad World
As the Wandering Magician reveals the true face of Salan, the journey into the Mad World begins.

Note #2: I'm still figuring out the best way to go about this, and changes may occur :)
