The world of Pokémon is a fascinating place, a world where men and monsters work together to achieve ever greater heights. It's a world where the impossible becomes possible, where the laws of physics can be bent or even outright ignored by those of enough strength. It's a world of beauty, wonder and joy.

And so of course its world that's been cataloged to hell and back. Hundreds of chapters of manga, dozens of games, movies and shows that have been airing for more than two decades. So when Arthur is reborn into this world after a tragic accident, he feels ready to explore and adventure in a world he's only dreamed of. He knows his favorite Pokémon, and armed with the knowledge from our world he plans to make an unstoppable team and climb to the top.

And then he comes face to face with the harsh truth of a reality where there exists a meta. A where predetermined stats and potentials cause some Pokémon to be favored over others. With a change of plans and a new goal, can Arthur overcome the odds and turn his team of misfits and underdogs into champions?

This is a Pokémon story if you couldn't pick up on it immediately. The first chapter will be a prologue that generalizes the feeling of our main character and how the world is going to work. I'm going to be going for a setting that feels a lot like the more popular fanfiction on this site, as they are a major inspiration for the series. Borne of Caution, I Will Touch the Skies, and When is a Spoon a Sword are the big ones. However to make it stand out, and to give myself a little more challenge this world does actually have concepts of things like stats, natures and of course, the meta. As such expect a setting where some Pokémon are just accepted as greater than others, and our hero works to break the mold with a set of traditionally weak Pokémon.

Without spoiling where the plot is heading, our protagonists team will only consist of Pokémon who's final evolution have less than 450 base stats. Expect clever strategies and unique mons not often showcased. I also like being involved with the reader base so occasionally there will be votes to decide future members of the teams as well. I hope this series is enjoyed, and seriously check out the ones that inspired this as well. They are phenomenal works and gave me the inspiration to write this in the first place.
