After losing his job as a town guard, Isak attempts to aim higher — become a Royal Chevalier. On the way to achieve that, he finds himself interrogated, trialed and forced to look deep inside his psyche to get rid of the so-called absolute sins. At last, Isak will be bound to make an ultimate sacrifice — lose his ability to speak.

And as he discovers, becoming a knight is only the beginning of the journey.
