You, a weary and exhausted individual of the masses, are chosen. You, out of the countless billions, were deemed worthy.

Why?

Well, simply because you are tired. Tired of your life, powerless to do anything against your unfortunate circumstances. But you still chug along, doing all you can.

Why?

Maybe because it's easier to go with the flow? Maybe. But you resist your fate. It may be unfair, but you're a fighter. Roadblocks are hurled at you down your path, but you persist. You do all the dirty jobs that no one wants because you are desperate for change.

Worry not, for you are saved. The gods hear your pleas for help.

They like those qualities, the desire to become stronger, and the need to change your fate or the fate of those you love. You're exactly what they're looking for. You are worthy of their cause.

They're looking for desperate individuals just like you.

And in your darkest moments, you are saved.

A blue screen appears in front of you.

It generally reads:

My child, I have chosen you. Fulfill your destiny. Do the will of your creator, and you shall be blessed with more than your heart desires.

You're given two choices: the blue button to accept, or the red button to decline.

But who in their right mind would refuse a much-wanted life change? Nothing has worked out for you so far, but this time you feel it's different. This time, you are chosen. This time, you are the main protagonist.

So you rise up to take the challenge to change your fate and press the blue button.

However, not all are lucky like you. Not all can change their fate with a press of a button.

But are you really lucky at all? The master of your fate? Maybe not?

Updates are twice a week on Mondays and Fridays. Chapters range from 2k to 3k but I average around 2200-2400.

Fair warning. I will say that my current writing is a slow burn and doesn't jump into the main plot right away. And may be awfully slow for some readers. But I like the pace and it feels good. Although there are some suggestive sexual references, I don't plan on writing anything too explicit. But I will tag it just in case.

I wanted the story to revolve around two main characters and the deeper world. Action and adventure will come along once I feel like the story has naturally progressed to that extent? I think. Yea. Maybe? I guess we will all find out together. Or not. Lol.

FYI, the start isn't the main character in the synopsis. I know I said, you, but you know what I mean. Or not. I mean you too? But mainly the 'you' in my head.

Anyway, it's late. I've been writing nonstop and am slightly eccentric.
