Transported to a derelict world by the amoral realm keeper Ayak, Jack finds himself tasked with rebuilding the world of Virendel from scratch.

Jack is only a simple Political Science major from Earth with nothing but the clothes on his back and a satchel of starter items – but fortunately for him, he's not alone. Ayak has assembled a team of magical beings from other worlds to help Jack: a high-elf, a gnome, a fae, a half-elf and a troll, all of whom are legends in their own worlds.

There's just one problem: none of these people are who Ayak thinks they are. The high-elf isn't a famed knight, the gnome isn't an aristocrat, the fae isn't a genius scholar, the half-elf isn't a well-renowned healer, and the troll isn't a legendary berserker. If anything, they're a bunch of total misfits.

Jack has only one option: use the perks and skills of his assigned Mediator class to get this mismatched team to work together and build a whole kingdom - without Ayak realizing he summoned the wrong heroes.

And with their wits, their skills and a whole lot of luck, they might just be able to build a kingdom from scratch.
