Jack Harding is a Sweeper (an execution officer) that deals with lowering the population of the poor that cannot afford to live on Earth. Corporations now rule the planet... or what's left of it. The Earth is a wasteland and abandoned by the rich. Those that are left behind must continue to pay, but if they cannot, they are "removed" from society. Jack is a dispenser of the new justice, but he feels the job is becoming too much to deal anymore. Unfortunately, the time has come for the final "purge" and even the Sweepers themselves are not immune to the New Collective Corporate Earth Alliance's proclamation that, "all must be removed" from the planet. Jack must find a way to get off the planet, or become one of those non-elite chosen to be "removed" permanently.

This story is full of trigger warnings and not for those who are offended easily. This is a Hard World.
