Stacy had been sat on her desk, a cup of pumpkin spice latte on the side, her laptop pulled out to work on a book report, when she accidentally dozed off on her keyboard. Instead of waking up to a saliva-stained table, Stacy found herself in another world with magic, elves, and monsters.

She immediately knew what happened: she had been isekai'd! Except, she was not in a fantastical kingdom as some kind of hero. She was in a dark, dank cave, lost and alone and afraid.

The elves she meets are not the sparkling, supernatural beauties she imagined, but are ashen-skinned, beady-eyed creatures called drows. And the monsters— the monsters want to eat her.

She is Stacy. Age 21. Enjoys long walks on the beach and watching the sunset. How is this city girl going to survive in a place where there are no beaches, and where the sun might not even exist? Also, who is this Dark Queen, and how is she responsible for the fallen state of the world?
