In desperation, the Gods sacrificed themselves to save the people of Eldoria from a darkness that threatened to devour their world. Using their divine powers, they opened Gates so the people could escape to a new world - But something went wrong.

Massive tracts of Eldoria were transmigrated to Earth, merging with it. The resulting chaos left huge areas where only magic worked, and others where technology reigned.

The Gates are still open, allowing monstrosities to crawl through. Daniel Carter has accepted the challenge of closing them.
