Soren Runeclaw is a reincarnation, but he doesn't know it. All of the memories of his past life have been sealed deep inside of him, and he goes about living a quiet village life. That all changes when he comes of age and all of the locked away secrets of his past life are revealed.
He learns that, in exchange for his reincarnation, he entered a pact with a goddess enlisting his servitude as her emissary. A pact that requires him to cultivate the all-powerful [Overlord] protocol and steer a faltering world back from the brink of imminent extinction by ascending to the pinnacle of all beings.
But how is a 14-year-old supposed to conquer the world over the deep-seated massive powers that dominate it? With time, guidance, and support from his party of comrades, of course!
Follow Soren as he explores the world, matures, cultivates his nascent powers, and navigates two stark identities. One as the mild-mannered, up-and-coming leader of The Phoenix Dawn adventuring party, and another as the illustrious Overlord of legend who threatens to bring the status quo to an end.
Note: SLOW BURN! We cooking beans because we letting it simmer. This story takes great influence from Overlord, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Mushoku Tensei (No horny), and DnD. It's in essence Overlord from a good-aligned POV, if the story started from the beginning of Ainz's journey and Ainz began as a confused, out-of-his-depth halfling trying to keep his head above the water. This story's inspirations may lend it an overall light novel-esque style.
