Healer Jyun Sou Jyut has somehow found themselves saddled with a travelling companion, a gender-shifting, trouble-making necromancer. They're stuck with each other - Sou Jyut must undergo a trial to prove their worthiness as successor to the Jyun Mei School of Healing, whilst the necromancer essentially requires a parole officer after committing multiple crimes and continuously escaping imprisonment. And so the unlikely duo travel from country to country, investigating the disappearance of legendary creatures across the world. The farther they go, the closer to home some of their revelations are.
