Once a shoe-in to become a Justicar - one of the Crown's foremost elite soldiers, Sven now spent his time languishing in between no-nothing villages and the bottom of an ale barrel. When his trail of self-pity started running out of gold, he turned to the age-old profession of Adventuring. Firmly believing that misery loves company, he joins up with a party that happens to be looking for a warrior.

Aided by the odd group of misfits and outcasts, he soon finds himself on the bad side of the self-proclaimed bandit king, Eric Redfang. Despite his reluctance to draw on the power that saw him shunned from his home, Sven would need all the help he could get, starting from the Ground Up.
