James Blaise likes naps. Doesn't like books, especially fantasy. Doesn't know how to use the internet--whatever that is. And is now a wizard.
Seventy years old and content with his usual routine, James is happy with his boring, average, normal life. That is, until he stumbles upon a book and is transported into a fantasy world, complete with magic, dragons (kind of), and a beautiful damsel to save. Just your stereotypical fantasy adventure. But James, who enters this new world armed with a sword he can't lift and ill-fitting hero duds, decides to change the script when he stumbles upon a tower in the middle of nowhere and finds some cozy robes calling his name.
Little does he know that donning the robes will transform him into a wizard--long white beard, crooked hat, magic spell book, and all.
Except James can't be bothered to read his book of spells and is only willing to go questing if it means getting back to his comfy chair and newspaper faster. Will he save the Green Queen, and will his joints hold up for the long trek?
Don't ask James--he's only up for a spell.
