In the finale of Sagan's trilogy, and the seventh in the overall Vast Collective Series, Sagan and the other Progeny pay for the mistake of trusting in the wrong people.

Trapped and terrified, Sagan fights her way back to the worlds where she belongs. Likewise, Korac battles the restraints of his past to save her.
