As it seems some of my readers expected this story to be written differently, I want to let you know that this story is a slice of life first and foremost. It should make more sense now when reading this novel. While there are action scenes in the novel, they are not the important component of this story. A slice of life story focuses more on everyday life and character interactions rather than major plot or action, major external antagonists or plot points are not strictly needed for this type of story.
