A common consensus in the world that most people would believe is that mirrors cannot in fact come to eat you. Several centuries of evidence also support this idea, alongside basic common sense. However, what happens when the world decides to change, what happens when mirrors do in fact need to eat and what destiny befalls those dragged kicking and screaming into their ugly maws? Dragged unwillingly in the dead of night, Zac awakens in this new, strange world with new strange powers, something he must use to survive the monsters that come, all the while searching for a way, any way of escaping his new world and returning home.
