Han Shen Hua, the inventor of Yin Cultivation, has her discovery stolen by demons which led to the accusation of her murders. Defeated by deviating cultivators, she meditated in a cave and return to human civilization to retrieve her cultivation scroll, only to be greeted by the glory of demons.

These demons are in search for an eternal energy vessel called Ruo Ye, which Shen Hua, to her luck, manage to get him join her "mission" to eliminate the demons. As they embark on a perilous journey with their personal reasons, the past and the future threatens to clash with the present and the world starts to revolve around Shen Hua once again. With the bet of her identity for her precious scroll, the stakes had exceeded what she can bear, and the new company could easily pose as an enemy instead of an ally.

When the world she knew already in ruins, the martial world in greed of power, Ruo Ye's secrecy, along with the demons who manage to learn her Yin cultivation, how would Life turn tides in this cycle?

In a nutshell: A flower* getting relentlessly bullied by the universe (and her people) as she searches her stolen petal.

*Hua (花) in Shen Hua could mean flowers, and is a metaphor for beauty in Chinese.
