Dan's life has been on autopilot since a traumatic event. That is, until he reunites with his old friend Melisa, whose drastic transformation seems impossible given the time that's passed. But Melisa is hiding a heavy secret that will have huge consequences on the world. Suddenly, Dan gains magical powers of a warrior and is haunted by the person who possessed them before him. As he struggles to make sense of it all, he realizes he's caught in a power struggle that could put his loved ones in danger. With the help of his companions, he must defeat god-like beings who are conducting simulations using different worlds, including their own. A/N: The MC will start out weak, spineless, timid etc. - basically all the adjectives you can give to a loser. It will take him some time to change for the better. If you have issues with it, I have added some notes in chapter 1 with some general outline of major events. You can skip the other chapters if you really want.

Also, MC will not have issues with killing people, but he won't go out of his way to do that.
