Bael, a night terror from the realm of dreams, is forcing open a tear between his realm and the realm of reality. His mission is simple: enslave all of Earth for the benefit of all nightmares, a path which leads both realms to an extinction if he succeeds. In a desperate bid to stop him, a friend of his name Vee turns traitor, steals away a confiscated pin of the Magral Knights, and flees to the realm of reality.

In doing so, Vee meets a college girl named Melissa Rogers and her friends. It is this group that Vee, blindly or not, puts Earth's fate in the hands of. Gifted the power to manipulate dream energy by the pin Vee brought with her, they find themselves fighting for the lives of everyone around them. In doing so, they will be forced to confront the worst aspects of humanity given form, and pasts that refuse to halt their torment whether they want to or not.
