Note from the author: Please be mindful of the tags for this story. I work very hard on it, in excess of twenty hours per post at great expense to my financial and social situations. I say this because I've noticed that some people take a quick look and then drop a casual low rating describing how terrible the story is because of the tragic, grim and angsty backdrop of the beginning of the series despite this being a grimdark tragedy within the progression fantasy genre. This is like watching a horror movie then giving it a 1/10 rating after only watching five minutes of the film because it's scary and not hilarious. I've dedicated thousands of hours into writing this story without any reward or monetary gain to speak of--I even spent two years unemployed just so that I could finally finish the second novel, which implicated me greatly--so please keep that in mind before you leave reviews or comments saying terrible things about my story or myself.
