Maxwell Clark woke up on a day like any other, his alarm blaring, signalling the start of another day at work.

With himself and the rest of the planet being abruptly and mysteriously subjected to the whims of the SYSTEM, a mysterious force that changed Flora, Fauna, and the landscape itself, Max will have to struggle to survive in a world with Magic and Monsters with only his wits, and his trusty Cricket Bat by his side.
